The 42nd annual National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT) summit in Kansas City, MO is just around the corner. The Treker team is excited to exhibit again for a second time at the industry’s largest, single-day NAPT trade show in Booth #629. We’re especially excited to return to the site of our official launch last year at NAPT’s 2015 summit in Richmond, VA.
This year’s theme of “Connecting What Matters” highlights NAPT’s unique position to bring together leaders and professionals from all areas of the industry to discuss what is most important to every attendee: the safe transport of our students. Treker feels particularly at home since ‘connecting what matters’ is exactly what we try to do every day: connect students, parents, bus drivers, school offices and district transportation teams with real-time student or bus locations and relevant information.
Treker looks forward to showing its latest platform version, including our Parent and Bus Driver mobile applications and real-time portal for School Front Office and District Transportation staff. Since our introduction at NAPT 2015 last year, we’ve been working non-stop on improvements. Stop by our booth to discuss your needs and to see our latest—and possibly a preview of what’s coming next for accurate and cost-effective student ridership tracking.
NAPT has invited the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to the summit this year to offer a “safety and security event designed to prepare Delegates to prevent, respond to and recover from a student transportation security incident.” (napt.org/annual-summit/)
Attendees of that event might be particularly interested in visiting Treker to see our integration with BluePoint Alert Solutions in action (bluepointalert.com). BluePoint Alerts provides Rapid Emergency Reponse Systems or schools to quickly engage police or medical first responders in the event of an emergency.
Treker has directly integrated with BluePoint Alert Solutions to allow bus drivers to alert Police, Fire or Medial first responders immediately from the Treker Driver App. These communications automatically transmit critical location information in the event of a transportation security incident, as well as accurate head count and rider identification to improve response times and situation awareness.
Visit Treker in Booth #629 to see a full demonstration of our platform for student ridership tracking, including and integration with BluePoint Alerts. We’ll show you how Treker uniquely serves the specific student transportation visibility and communication needs of school administrators, bus drivers, bus contractors, students, and parents.
