Our story began at a bus stop on a snowy New Jersey morning. Thy Tang wondered how he could order an Uber and see exactly when it would arrive, yet he had no idea how long he’d be waiting for his son’s school bus. What started as a concern for cold toes has grown into a company that stands for child safety.

We call our safety-first approach to school travel Treknology, and it’s leading to some exciting innovations. For example, we’ve rolled out the industry’s only hands-free student check-on system—TrekCheck—so young riders can easily board and un-board the bus. And when they do, parents and school administrators are notified. Here’s another: TrekAlert, our child safety alert system, instantly notifies transportation directors, admins, and even local law enforcement if a child is left on a bus. Another industry first.
